Designed for the aspiring author who wants a more indepth understanding of how to write Bestselling Fiction. This class helps you answer these and other important questions about your project: Whose story is it? What’s at stake? Why here, why now? Why should the reader care and who do they care about? Who does the reader love to hate? At the end of the Retreat you should have the tools and road map you need to complete your novel.
This class will focus on the literary novel-emphasizing character and style over action and plot. Focus of the workshop will be on showcasing the unique voice with particular attention paid to characterization, structure, style, and dialogue.

The Director of our Screenwriting Retreat, Michael Palmieri, has committed to reading the entire screenplay of each attendee of this very special learning experience. He promises to contact each student individually, “so that I can have a personal conversation with them prior to them arriving at the Screenwriting Retreat, so that they already have homework, know their expectations, and are all on the same page.”
“My commitment is to reach out to my community in the industry and get executives, coaches, producers, development executives who are working with writers on a daily basis and have proven track records in developing material with writers and have been able to sell and/or produce said material.
